Well it’s been interesting looking at all the questions we’ve been hit with.  We see that this profit thousands of years before us presents God with the same questions we have.  Why? Where are you? When will you come?  We see in our time as did Habakkuk that there is injustice, suffering, and war.  God is in the middle of it and in this week coming up we will discuss what our reaction should be to the God of the universe.

Hey everyone, our first meeting went great.  I appreciate everyone getting involved and keeping the conversation rolling.  We will be doing part 2 of the Discipleship series.  I posted this weeks questions on the lesson page.  We will also only do 3 of the 6 lessons then we will move on to the Lifechurch.tv lesson Habakkuk.  So same place and time, check out the questions if you want somewhat of an idea where we will be going on Monday.  See you all then.

Well tomorrow is the start of the Star, Cross, and the Crescent series.  Also tomorrow is the second weekend of the groups fair after each service.  Hopefully there will be a crowd, we would like to have some new folks joining not only our group but get plugged in any group.  This Monday is the official launch of our group and we will actually do a lesson.  I am seriously nervous about “leading” this group. I just pray I will let God move this group in the direction He wants and not what I think is a good direction or trendy.  I’ll see you around the creek and definitely on Monday.

OK first change is this blog is NO LONGER PRIVATE…. Seree and I made the executive decision (sounds official) that we can use this blog to share with people looking for a small group to check out and possibly attend ours. So if you want your post anonymous  just don’t sign your name to it.  Second if you have any prayer requests just post them like the last one here and I will put it in the prayer request page just to keep them organized. I wanted to ask everyone to say a little prayer for my dad and family this week. My dad is going into the hospital this morning and will be there most of the week. He has a heart condition called atrial fibrilation (his heart beats faster than the blood can pump through). Three years ago he had this procedure done and they shocked his heart from the inside and it held, for a couple years. Last Christmas is heart skipped back out of rhythm and he was referred to a specialist at MCG.

Today they are checking to make sure there are not clots are anything they should be alarmed about before the procedure tomorrow. They will also be taking pictures of his heart to check the condition of the situtation.

Please pray for my dad and that he will be taken care of the the doctors and staff. Please pray for the doctors and nurses that they will be able to take care of the situation. And please pray for my family, we are not able to be at the hospital due to jobs, and families and my mom is alone waiting most of the day.

Thank you in advance for all of your prayers. I know God will take care of him, and he will be home safely with us by the weekend (hopefully).
